Super-fast Rotation in the OMC 2/FIR 6b Jet

We present Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array CO (J = 2–1) and 1.3 mm continuum observations of the high-velocity jet associated with FIR 6b protostar located in Orion Molecular Cloud-2. detect a velocity gradient along short axis both red- blueshifted components. The position–velocity diagrams redshifted show typical characteristic rotating cylinder. attribute component to rotation jet. (>20 km s?1) specific angular momentum (>1022 cm2 around are largest among all jets which has been observed. By combining disk wind theory our observations, launching radius is estimated be range 2.18–2.96 au. rapid rotation, large momentum, far from central can explained by magnetohydrodynamic that contributes transfer late stages protostellar accretion.
